Conference Board's Research Online Collection

Joyner Library converted the standing order for Conference Board publications from print to online. The online collection goes back to 1998 for some titles - coverage that far back is not comprehensive, though. Here is the description of the online collection, called Research Online:

The Conference Board's Research Online Collection is a searchable collection of full-text research reports on the latest issues in business management and US and global economics. Proprietary, nonbiased research includes studies of Fortune 500 companies on business trends, corporate citizenship and sustainability, corporate governance, ethics, human resources, operations and business process, productivity and more. Executive summaries and special PowerPoint encapsulations are available for selected reports.

You can connect to the Research Online database from the Databases list or from this URL: http://www.ecu.edu/cs-lib/erdbs/erdbs_description.cfm?id=455

We will be withdrawing most of the print Conference Board reports from the Joyner Stacks, after verifying that they are in fact available online.

Welcome to the Economics News Blog

Greetings!

This is my first attempt at creating a blog. I hope it will be a good way to share information about new resources at Joyner Library with faculty, staff and students in the Department of Economics at ECU. Please send me your comments and suggestions. I hope that you will share information about resources that you find useful, too.

We've recently converted a number of print subscriptions to online. I will try to cover these changes in a series of postings.
